I am one of the many senior citizens who have lived in Santa Clara for nearly 50 years. I certainly hope the concerts at the new 49er Stadium will be few and far between and that the volume level will be seriously controlled. Expect the constant traffic this facility (capacity 65,000, plus employees) will create near-Los Angeles air quality. This was the most wonderful city in which to live and now it is going to serve primarily the people who do not live here at the resident’s expense. I and many others are very upset about this. Guess the airport will be growing too. More pollution and noise! And a probable Super Bowl! I thought this was such a green city…. NOT!!!! ….except for the greenbacks the greedy people who are running the stadium project are rejoicing over. Goodbye sweet Santa Clara! Hello noise and air pollution!
