As a parent of elementary school students in Santa Clara, I am pleased that the Santa Clara Unified School District engaged the public to develop a five year strategic plan focusing on achieving academic excellence while improving existing facilities and expanding the number of schools to meet the district’s increasing population. Electing Anna Welsh to the Board of Trustees in November will help continue this momentum by seating a passionate advocate for Santa Clara students, educators and parents during this period of growth in our District. I have had the pleasure of volunteering with Anna at our elementary school and have witnessed her consistent dedication to providing quality educational opportunities for students and encouraging parental engagement throughout our District. I hope you join me in voting for Anna Welsh for the SCUSD Board.
