For the past twelve years, the people of Santa Clara have known Rod Diridon, Jr. as their City Clerk, but I met him as a Professor for my spring Local Politics course. As a student at SJSU, I have yet to meet any other Professor so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the class they are teaching. Professor Diridon gave us a clear view, from his first-hand experience, of the importance of local government and how to make a difference in our communities. His dedication and commitment to the City of Santa Clara was obvious to any student lucky enough to be in his lecture. Santa Clara is fortunate to have such a dedicated and passionate City Clerk, and I hope you will re-elect him.
