We are now only days away from one of the most interesting elections that I can ever recall. Our own Police Chief race features two very different candidates. One candidate has no administrative experience and has chosen to run a muddy campaign while the other is running on competency, merit and character. I worked with Chief Sellers during my time in the Santa Clara Fire Department and it is clear why Chief Sellers is endorsed by every Police Chief before him, and every current Police Chief in the County. Mike Sellers is eminently qualified for the job based on his experience, four years of which are in the Police Chief position. More important though is his high ethical standards, something that clearly separates him from his opponent. Santa Clara is the 11th safest city in the United States. I encourage you to reelect Mike Sellers for Police Chief.
