I was confused by the statements made by Mr. Stampolis after his most recent court hearing. While he likes to claim that he is a champion of the Latino community and equitable education, that is not what his actions as a board trustee at Santa Clara Unified School District have shown. Those who have regularly attended board meetings and watched Stampolis in action for the past 2 years know that this is a man who is focused on promoting himself, creating chaos, and bullying staff. Don’t be fooled by this smooth talking politician. He’s in it for himself.
