• Franklin Street Festival presented by Santa Clara University and the Old Quad Residents Association: On the newly renovated Franklin Street on the SCU campus between Alviso Street and The Alameda. 1-5 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available.

Sunday, September 30

• Book Launch Party: “Casanova, Curator of Memories” by Preston Metcalf: Triton Museum of Art. 2-4 p.m. There will be a reading of passages from the novel, book signing, reception and refreshments
