Prior to swearing in Ryan and Stampolis, or a single action taken by the board, a campaign of doom and gloom began. A November Facebook post reads, “be glad you will not have to endure the 4 ninkenpoops!!! [sic] The Santa Clara parents are in for a rude awakening.” This is retaliation to the voters in the name of sour grapes! The self-victimization of resignations of the superintendent and others is intentionally political. It’s become a game of “I’m taking my ball and going home.” There are voters, parents, staff and teachers who are welcoming the change, but you won’t see them at board meetings or on Facebook for fear of intimidation. This manufactured chaos is a self-fulfilling prophecy over a lost election.
